This Privacy Policy explains how Callid.gr (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use https://callid.gr and related services (phone search, comments, accounts, widget, number claims).

2. What Data We Collect
- Account data: username, email, password (hashed), language preference, account status.
- Profile data: full name, location, bio, avatar (optional).
- Numbers & content: numbers you search or that appear on pages, comments/ratings, likes, favorites.
- Email verification: OTP codes sent to activate your account.
- KYC documents: if you claim a number, identity details/documents to verify ownership.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, device, cookies/session, security and usage logs.
- CAPTCHA: data processed by hCaptcha during registration to prevent bots.
Comments and public number-page information are visible to other users. Do not post other people’s personal data without a lawful basis.
3. Purposes & Legal Bases (GDPR)
- Contract / service delivery: account, searches, comments, favorites, widget.
- Legitimate interests: security, abuse prevention, service improvement, basic statistics.
- Consent: where required (e.g. non-essential cookies, certain communications).
- Legal obligation: where required by law.
- KYC: ownership verification at your request (contract / legitimate interest / legal obligation as applicable).
4. Cookies & Third Parties
- We use necessary cookies for login/session, language preference and cookie consent.

The service is not directed at persons under 16. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us for deletion.
